The VRC Manifesto

  • Precision over decoration

  • Performance over trend

  • Consistency is a feature

  • Every detail must earn its place

  • Less hype - more proof

Origin

I come from construction, where design only matters if it stands. An architect can draw something beautiful - but without engineered systems behind it, it fails. VRC is built the same way. Every model is developed around repeatable geometry, controlled variables, and real-world reliability. These aren't art pieces more suitable for display. They're performance guitars engineered to hold up under tension, movement, and stage use.

"Many guitars are sold as art pieces or homages to tradition with feature lists like ultra-low showroom setups, decorative complexity, beautiful finishes, and endless options that rarely get used."

VRC began with one-off builds. Through iteration, documentation, and refinement, those builds became platforms. Axis and Vector are not custom experiments - they are controlled systems refined through testing.

Ready to play

Small Runs. Controlled Growth.

We are not mass production, and we are not hobby custom. We are small batch, controlled scaling.

The Setup Philosophy

  • Slightly higher pro setup

  • Real-world dynamic play

  • No "Instagram spec" numbers

  • Ready out of the case

Built Like a System and Ready to Play

Consistent setup matters more than ultra-low action. We have standardized on hardware including:

  • Rock solid high precision locking tuners and precision milled fixed bridges from Gotoh

  • Incredible sound paths and controls designed and engineered to be logical, simple, dependable, and built to last by Obsidian Wire

  • Hand wound pickups by Bare Knuckles, voiced to match the intended expression of each model and matched to the controls

  • Each model is Plek'd and shipped ready to play right out of the case
